Thank you to those of you that came along to the AGM. At that meeting new Committee members were elected. Thanks for those who have left for your work and also to those who chose to be re-elected.
The new Committee met on 20 October 2023 to establish roles and responsibilities and discuss any issues.
The Committee is now made up as follows (representing all phases of the site)
Chair Dan Lawrance email: chairpersonlhra@gmail.com
Secretary John Alexander email: thesecretarylhra@gmail.com

Lynne Corder
As we have several new residents, the Committee felt it was a good time to check we are all in possession of the relevant documents relating to the site, the Committee and the Factor, FBR Seed.
These documents are as follows:
- The written Statement by FBR, our Factors. If you don’t have this, please
contact FBR for a copy Tel :01573 408952 - A copy of the Deed of Declarations for Condition for the Site. This will have been provided by your solicitor as part of the conveyancing process.
- The Terms of Reference for the Residents Committee. If not please contact the Secretary.
- Please ensure you have a standing order, or agreed form of payment, due to the Factor on 1st of the month (currently £20 a month.
Communication
To ensure we have your up-to-date information, Helen will be visiting each address to confirm what contact details you wish us to use to keep you updated on the site.
This leads on to …
Information Portal
The Committee has decided to create a web portal that residents can access on line. This will be updated with relevant documents.
In addition, there will be access to necessary forms that can be downloaded, e.g. reporting of defects in the communal areas.
More information on this when it is up and running…..
We accept not everyone will be online so these details and forms can also be requested from the Secretary.
Hard copies of notices and newsletters can also be printed off and posted for those not on line. Please make Helen aware when she visits.
Snagging Items
You may, or may not, be aware that the site manager, Gregor, has now left. Jamie Hudson is now dealing with outstanding snagging items.
Issues Raised By Residents
Parking ~ now that the final tarmac and mono blocks have been laid in Dunglass Road, we have been asked to encourage residents to use their designated parking bays, where they are available. Also, can we please encourage friends and families to use the visitor bays where possible.
Electric charging points ~ with the increase of electric cars comes the issue of charging. Accepting not everyone is in a position ideally suited for this, can we ask for consideration to others. One example, cables running across pavements/footpaths are a hazard.
Christmas Tree
We are looking for volunteers to help with the installation and decoration of it. The tree will be purchased and delivered but if you can help, please let the Secretary know.
We are hoping to arrange a carol singers ‘singalong’ closer to Christmas with a view to supporting a local charity. Again, please let the Secretary know if you are interested.
Please remember that the Green is for the benefit and use of all residents.
Finally
The Committee is here to undertake matters for the residents in relation to the site.
Unfortunately we are unable to deal with individual issues.
Could we ask that all emails are sent to the Secretary in the first instance so that there is no duplication. The Secretary will then pass to the most appropriate person to respond.
There is a dedicated email address for this: thesecretarylhra@gmail.com
